A fast is observed on next 16 Mondays and the udyapan of the vrat (conclusion) is performed on the 17th Monday

DESCRIPTION

Solah Somvar Vrat is performed by doing Upwas and Puja to Lord Shankarji for 16 Mondays and 17th Monday Udyapan is done for successful completion of the Sankalp for 16 Somvar Vrat. young ladies who are willing to get very good husband can perform this Vrat, or whose marriage is getting delayed, also married ladies can perform this vrat for happy Dampatya and get lord Shivji blessings. This Vrat can be started in the Shukla Paksha Monday of any month or Shravan month Monday you can start the Vrat. During Periods Vrat should not be performed.

Somvar Vrat Udyapan is performed by doing Gauri, Ganesh, Kalash, Matrika Puja, Navgraha puja. Lingatobadra puja, Shiv parivar Puja, Rudrabhishek is performed on Shivling, Katha shravanam is done and Havan is performed. Later Yatha Shakti Daan and Dakshina is given to the Brahmins who are invited to perform the Udyapan Puja.
