Lord Hanuman is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and is also known as Eleventh Rudra as he is the ruling deity of 11 Mukhi Rudraksha. As per Ramayana, the most honored Hindu Epic, when Lord Vishnu took birth as Lord Rama to free this Earth from the tortures of the dreaded Demon king Ravana, the other Gods and Goddesses also took birth to support Lord Rama. DESCRIPTION

Lord Hanuman, a bachelor, is said to have enormous devotion towards Lord Shri Ram. He is believed to be a Chiranjeevi, an immortal who is omnipotent as well and also known as "Anjani Putra" because he was the son of Anjani (the monkey princess) who was the wife of Kesari (a monkey chief). Before one starts with the puja of Lord Hanuman, the worship of Lord Ganesha is to be done. Sindoor must be offered to the Lord Hanuman idol whilst chanting the mantra "Aum Shree Ramdut Hanumate Namah: Gandham Samarpayami". The mantra, "Aumshree Ramdut Hanumate Namah" essentially means we offer salutations to Lord Hanuman, Lord Ramas messenger. "Samarpayami" is basically offering.
